The Motor Reducer Assembly with Brake is a component of the base motor. A 700 watts rated power output is used for the base motor which drives motor reducer assembly. The thermal time constant for the motor is 23 minutes and the thermal resistance is 0.54 C/watt. The motor is wound up in a lightweight aluminum casing. It operates much quite than the standard versions. Provisions are given to accommodate the encoder with the motor. Every 30m, the motor leads in order to relieve the strain at the exit points have been provided. A gear reducer of 20:1 planetary, is part of the kit. It helps us to achieve the desired outputs. Since it is a planetary type there is a low chance for backlash. It is a two stage planetary, output stage has 3 planets. The brake is a power off type. It is suitable for continuous operation at 180 VDC. The encoder is covered by rubber modified glass fiber glass. It provides good heat resistance and UV stability.
