Product Overview
The gas spring, also called gas strut, gas pressure springs, gas dampers or gas pressure dampers, are used as a solution for the requirements for opening, closing, tilting and damping flaps in machines and other equipments. These are similar to the typical mechanical springs that relies on elastic deformation while these spring uses compressed gas contained within an enclosed cylinder sealed by a sliding piston to pneumatically store potential energy and withstand external force applied parallel to the direction of the piston shaft. This assembly comes with threaded ends for mounting and provides a long travel of grater than 160 mm. This assembly is suitable for extension force of upto 3000 N. This Gas Spring can be used in the assemblies of GE's Senographe Essential & Senographe DS Systems. The material will be shipped in suitable packaging to give adequate protection during transit.
