Product Overview
The Sam Aqua-Knot Kit is used in patient monitoring systems. The aqua-knot kit is used to protect gas analysis systems from contaminants. It is inserted into the front of the Smart Anesthesia Multi gas module. The Smart Anesthesia Multi gas module is also called as SAM® module. This SAM® module is an infrared based, multi gas analyzer module that measures inspired and expired values for patient gases and calculates the respiratory rate. The module recognizes and measure the gas information with all other vital sign information like ECG, Pressure, etc. that are all displayed in the patient monitor displays. The one end of the patient sample line is connected to the Aqua-Knot flow indicator with a Luer-lok fitting and the other end is connected vertically to the airway adapter with Luer-lok fitting. The airway adapter is also connected to the tube adapter endotracheal. The Aqua-Knot flow indicator is used to show the direction of the gas flow. The Sam Aqua-Knot Kit consists of filter, water tarp, spacer and Luer fittings.
