제품 개요
The Total Lock Caster is a part of Signa Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) system. It has 2 front and 2 rear casters (wheels). The total lock brake simultaneously locks the wheel and the swivel. As a single step procedure, activates the pedal instantly locks the entire caster holding the equipment firmly in place. Similarly, a simple step on release pedal frees the swivel and wheel. This feature assures that the swivel caster will not turn when the wheel is locked, thus making it an effective locking mechanism for MRI environments. It has a capacity of bearing peak load up to 150 kg each. All the materials used are to be non-magnetic, however maximum of 0.2 lbs of magnetic material on each caster is permissible. The wheel covers and the castor fork have a matt finish. The tier of the caster wheels is made up of a rubber which has excellent mechanical properties including good tensile, elongation, tear resistance and resilience. The force needed to lock or release the brake should not exceed 12kgf.
