Product Overview
The H-POWER Temperature Sensor Board (TSB) interfaces with the MSUB and is attached to the stationary side of the Computed Tomography System's gantry. The thermal sensor board will provide an analog input signals to the MSUB for measuring the temperature of the gantry within the cover assemblies. This input signal is converted to a digital signal on the Table Gantry Processor board (TGP). This assembly uses high quality LM35DM 8-Pin as the main sensor which is a precision integrated-circuit temperature devices with an output voltage linearlyproportional to the Centigrade temperature. The LM35 device has an advantage over linear temperature sensors calibrated in Kelvin, as the user is not required to subtract a large constant voltage from the output to obtain convenient Centigrade scaling. The assembly has a 4 pin header connector for easy and quick installation. This assembly is designed as per the applicable UL, CSA and IEC standards. The H-Power TSB is compatibe with GE's Lightspeed RT, Xtra, Pro 16, 16, Ultra, Brightspeed Edge, Excel, Elite, Discovery 670, ST etc PET/CT systems.
