Product Overview
The Wing Nut and Washer Special Fastener is used where frequent adjustments are necessary. This requires hand tightening alone. It is used in the rear cover assembly and HDe6 front cover of a CT device. It is manufactured using high precision techniques which helps to achieve a good surface finish as well as good product consistency. The high dimensional stability of the wing nut ensures its precise fit as per the requirement. The high grade material used for the wing nut has good mechanical properties like tensile strength, hardness and wear resistance which ensures a long-life span for the component. The wing nut possesses a high strength to weight ratio. The wing nut is zinc electroplated to enhance its properties like good corrosion and wear resistance. In zinc electroplating, a thin coating of zinc metal is electrodeposited onto the surface of the part. This coating forms a physical barrier that prevents rust from reaching the underlying metal surface and in turn protecting the part.
