The HD Case Windows 7 Image V 4.0 and V 6.73 Application is a service kit that is a Field Replaceable Unit (FRU). It consists of an image hard drive, V6.72 application DVD, CASE V6.73 CD and Windows 7 license is used to upgrade a CASE Kontron V6.5/V6.6 system with product code SHS, SM4, or SN5 from Windows XP to Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit and the V6.73.SD card that should be used to save all configurations and settings before upgrading or launching CASE application. It can be restored from SD card to a new HD. It gets restored, only when the upgrading process gets over. The custom configured reports and user lists are saved to the mapped network directory. Write the CASE custom setups and the serial number of the CASE system on the SD card label. The FRU HD CASE Windows 7 consists of one hard disk drive, two CD’s and one DVD. The hard disk drive has a 1 TB capacity with 7200 RPM rotational speed. Custom setups are copied to the data migration hard drive. The application version of DVD is V 6.72 with a 4.7 GB capacity. SATA (Serially Advanced Technology Attachment) power and SATA data cables are connected to both the hard drive and DVD drive. It is used to carry data and information. To avoid shortening of any open contacts, ESD bag should be placed between two drives. It is being used in UL Voluson P8, MS Telemetry ApexPro CH and other applications.
